FAQS

Frequently Asked Questions

How difficult is gorilla trekking?

Trek length and terrain vary. A reasonable level of fitness is important, and porter support is strongly recommended.

One permit is included when specifically confirmed in your proposal. Permits are limited and subject to availability.

What is the minimum trekking age?

Uganda currently applies a minimum age for gorilla tracking. We confirm current rules before booking.

Can I see classic safari wildlife too?

Yes. Queen Elizabeth and other parks add elephants, buffalo, hippos, predators and abundant birdlife.

When is the best time to visit Uganda?

Uganda can be visited year-round. Drier months often make forest trails easier, while wetter periods are especially green.

Can the trip be extended?

Yes. Add Murchison Falls, Kidepo, the Nile or a Rwanda extension.
