The Big Five Wilderness Collection

The Big Five Wilderness Collection is a tailor-made luxury safari through three of Kenya’s most rewarding wildlife regions. From endangered rhino in a private Laikipia conservancy to elephants beneath Mount Kilimanjaro and big cats on the Maasai Mara plains, the journey is designed for travellers who want depth, variety and unhurried wildlife encounters.

A Complete Kenya Big Five Safari

Lion, leopard, elephant, rhino and African buffalo are known collectively as the Big Five. Seeing them in the wild is unforgettable, but this collection goes beyond a checklist. Expert guides introduce the behaviour, habitats and conservation stories behind each species while leaving space for the unexpected moments that define a true safari.

The route combines distinctive ecosystems rather than repeating similar landscapes. Private conservancies, volcanic plains, seasonal wetlands, acacia woodland and open grasslands create a varied journey with excellent photography and wildlife viewing throughout the year.

Rhino Conservation in Laikipia

Laikipia is one of Kenya’s most important conservation regions and a strong place to encounter black and white rhino. Carefully managed conservancies protect wildlife while supporting local employment, research and community partnerships.

Depending on your selected property, days may include private game drives, guided walks, night drives, photographic hides and conservation-led experiences. Lions, leopards, elephants, African wild dogs and distinctive northern species add remarkable diversity.

Elephants Beneath Mount Kilimanjaro

Amboseli is celebrated for its elephant families and expansive views towards Mount Kilimanjaro. Seasonal wetlands draw wildlife into the open, creating classic East African scenes and opportunities to observe elephants feeding, socialising and moving across the plains.

Buffalo, lions, cheetahs, giraffes, hippos and abundant birdlife share this dramatic landscape. Early and late game drives make the most of softer light, cooler temperatures and the possibility of clear mountain views.

Big Cats in the Maasai Mara

The Maasai Mara completes the collection with some of Africa’s most reliable predator viewing. Lions hold territories across the plains, cheetahs use open ground to hunt and leopards move through riverine woodland. Large herds of buffalo, elephants and plains game ensure every drive offers a new story.

Your camp may be inside the reserve for direct access to celebrated wildlife areas or in a private conservancy offering lower vehicle density, night drives and guided walks. A private vehicle can be arranged for complete flexibility and patient photography.

Thoughtful Luxury in the Wilderness

Accommodation is selected for location, guiding, atmosphere and responsible practices. Expect spacious tented suites, warm service, memorable meals and time to enjoy the landscape between activities. Light-aircraft flights connect the regions efficiently and reveal Kenya’s remarkable geography from above.

Create Your Big Five Journey

The Big Five Wilderness Collection can be adapted for couples, families, photographers and private groups. Add extra conservancy nights, a specialist guide, cultural experiences, a Great Migration extension or time on the Kenyan coast or Zanzibar.
